The bar hangs a long way off the wall, so it pries. That force lands on the top board:

T = W × d × shock ÷ h

315 lb on the bar works out to 417 lb trying to peel the top board off.

The screws

Holding power, per inch of thread actually buried in the stud:

pull-out = 2850 × G² × D

A 3" screw spends 1.5" crossing the 2x6 and 0.5" in drywall, leaving 1" of grip. A 5" one gets 2.75". That's the whole toggle: 356 lb of holding power becomes 1,942 lb.
